
After waiting 107 days to get back on a bike (see my recent Blog post here), I was out on the bike again during the week making it two rides within a few days of each other, and of necessity it was out on the Kawasaki again. I headed off to Jeppo’s for a coffee and then on into North Wales though Llangollen, over the Horseshoe Pass before looping round to Corwen for another coffee and a classic bikers snack … a fabulous sausage sandwich.
The weather was just ideal, the roads were quiet and I really enjoyed the 170 miles or so that I did.
The chance of getting away for a few days fell to pieces this week with the strange weather pattern we are currently experiencing – and whilst I’m not writing the chance of a short trip for next week, it’s not really looking that likely either.
