Bit of a look back
I have recently changed the Instagram name I use for my bike pictures. The change to an Instagram page specifically for my bike pictures, rather than the generic one I use for all of my pictures (including bikes) meant I was starting from scratch with the bike pictures.
Just at the moment, and following some routine surgery I can’t get out on my bikes. That situation looks set to continue for maybe another week or two. Being pretty much confined to the house prompted me to post a selection of pictures to the new instagram page and in so doing provided a look back at the Moto Guzzi V7, Moto Guzzi V50 Monza and the BMW RnineT
The pictures posted so far have almost all been of my current bikes, so the BMW RnineT, the Moto Guzzi V7 and the BMW F800R. There are a couple of pictures of probably the best ‘all rounder’ of a bike I have owned – the superb Kawasaki Z1000 SX. The pictures in this post (in the gallery below are all from the Moto Guzzi Instagram posts)
New Instagram address
I wrote a few words about the new Instagram address in my last Blog post, which you can read here. The new address is @motorbikefotos
Moto Guzzi V7 and Moto Guzzi V50
I have had the Moto Guzzi V7 since I bought it new back in 2012. I think one of my earliest posts about this bike was way back in 2014 and not so long after I had quit full time work. You can read that early post at this link. There are plenty of posts and pictures throughout the blog that feature the V7. The most recent V7 related post is at this link.
My time with the Moto Guzzi V50 also goes back to the days before I finished full time work and was a bike I bought to ‘mess about with’ – you can see an early post from 2014 at this link and then another when I sold the V50 in 2018 at this link.
