I wrote a post a short while ago about doing what the doctor says, this was written following some routine shoulder surgery – which although on the way to recovery has got in the way of getting out on the bikes as much as I would have liked, especially with the decent spell of weather we have been enjoying.
Some of that was put right last week, I managed two short rides – the first on my Kawasaki Vulcan S and then the second on my BMW RnineT – neither ride was very far or for very long but it was good to get out and to start getting back into the swing of things.
Hopefully I can start to build the mileage up and be fully ‘bike fit’ before too long – places to go and good roads to ride and all that.
