A friend of mine called into the BMW Motorrad dealer in Chester last week and saw a rather stunning BMW RnineT.
He was good enough to take a few snaps of the bike and sent them onto me – this one really is a stunner. I had a quick Google search on the web and it transpires there was a BMW Bespoke Build Contest – BMW sent eight R nineT Racers to eight Motorrad dealers around England.
Votes were invited and around 10,000 votes were collected via social media channels before selecting this one as the winner.
The rules were straightforward – the entrants had to use the RnineT Racer as their base and the final version had to homologated for road use after two and a half months of custom work.
