Back to the grind today after a decent weekend.

On Friday Pat and I were at The Italian in Romiley for a bite to eat (which was very decent) and then yesterday Sarah, Damian and the children joined us for Sunday breakfast – as did Richard who was slightly fragile after the previous nights Halloween party where he had turned up in a tremendous ‘surgeons outfit’ (see the pix in the photo set below).

Today I’m off to St Helens with Andy – hopefully to buy some new (bike) boots – my others have done sterling service but really do need to be put out to grass after more than five years and 50,000 miles!
