Just had a couple of decent days away in Yorkshire … including taking in a vineyard! Decent food, decent drink, decent place and decent walking – really enjoyed it.

raising the bar ..
Yesterday my son-in-law took delivery of a new BBQ -I was there when it was delivered and I was left gutted. My normal BBQ fayre is a few sausages and burgers – sort of the usual really. This morning my blog has received its 10,000th page view. I set the Blog up as a way of keeping in touch with folk when I quit work in December so thanks for looking.

a fine walk

garage time
Spent a bit of time in the garage this week – messing about with one of the bikes, it’s a sort of therapeutic approach to battling against maturity.

sometimes you have to go to Plan B
I picked Daniel up this morning but were rained off from a planned visit to the park so fell back to Plan B and took a visit to a local pet store and then garden centre for a drink and a scone – a lovely time with a lovely boy
