Up early today, sandwiches made, drinks packed and off for a full day at Oulton Park for the Superbike Racing.

Today I’m taking my nephew Andy and we’re going in the car, yesterday I nipped up to watch the qualifying and rather than get one of my bikes out I used my scooter. Slightly odd to see my 125 Honda scoot’ parked up amongst the hundreds of sports bikes – but it meant I could carry cameras and bits and pieces and more or less just ‘dump’ it without being troubled – not really sure anyone would want to nick it!

Weather is looking good and I shall be off about 06.15 for what should be a decent day out.
