Its all about the exhausts … it seems the variety of bike exhausts are almost as plentiful as bikes themselves – they really do come in all shapes and sizes.
Some seem to enhance the bike whilst other make me wonder what on earth the designers were thinking off (not withstanding the design restrictions and challenges presented by increasingly stringent environmental requirements).
I can spend ages just looking at exhausts, which I appreciate could make me seem somewhat sad … but I suppose it’s what ever floats your boat really.
With that in mind I took a few snaps of exhausts whilst I was the Manchester Bike Show over the weekend and which I wrote about earlier. If you missed Part 1 you can read it here.
A quick online search for motorcycle exhausts brings up an incredible assortment of results, almost too many to consider and I guess that one of the advantages of going to a show is that you can see and touch the products.
One of the exhaust exhibitors at the show was a company called lextek who I hadn’t heard of before, but whose products looked pretty good. Judging from the prices quoted on the leaflet that I picked up they are certainly competitive and their website is worth a look at.
