This morning started with a series of decisions which as ever were informed by looking out of the window whilst sipping my second coffee of the day. It also prompted me to reflect on the fact that although you can quit working you can’t quit decision-making. So my three major decisions of the day were: what bike; what to wear and what gloves. I opted for the Moto Guzzi, textile jacket, armoured jeans and short gloves.

Had a decent ride – not may miles really probably only about 75 or so as I ended up chatting to a couple of other bikers I met at a roadside stop.
