You will have seen in my earlier post (14 Feb) that we drew lots for who was providing the items to make up our meal yesterday (Valentines day). The attached pictures show the outcome. My offerings were Strawberry Schnapps with a bowl of Love Hearts, followed by a pretty ordinary bowl of tomato soup but the bowl in was served in made up for the soups ordinariness and croutons were served in suitable ramekins (I had sourced the bowls and dishes specifically for last night).

Added to this was a suitable bottle of wine and in advance of the main course Pat provided the ‘oil burner’ with the heart shapes
