Cheshire back roads and a relaxing ride on a Honda CMX 1100
In my last post I mentioned I had finally been out on what genuinely felt like the first ‘proper ride’ on my Honda CMX 1100 DCT.
This time however, it was only a short run of around 70 miles or so. Even so it was still useful as it helped to add to the ‘required’ mileage for the upcoming first service. That service is booked for later this month.
Had the weather been better I suspect the mileage and the service would have been completed much sooner.
Just a short post ..
This is just a very short ‘update post’
Nevertheless as soon as the initial service is done and the weather is suitable I am hoping to get away for a short break.
I’m not entirely sure where, but I wouldn’t be at all surprised if I headed up to the west coast of Scotland. Or there again maybe the Borders and some of my favourite roads are equally tempting.
The last time I was up that way on a bike was May 2025 . On that occasion I was riding the BMW F900 XR – and it turned into a really enjoyable 1,000 mile three town trip.
