Home from a magnificent road trip in Spain and Portugal

Just back from a quite brilliant road trip traveling down through the Pico’s Portugal and on then onto Andalusia for a few days. I had said in my last post that I was off to find sunshine and warm roads and that’s exactly what I did before working my way back to Santander with a few overnight stops on the way.

It was pretty good

The weather was superb, the scenery fabulous, accomodation up to the usual standards and I got to see many new places and sights – I also took in some favorite roads in Portugal as well, all rounded off by a difficult and at times a pretty unpleasant journey home from Plymouth due to the impact of Storm Babet
