There have been a couple of days in recent weeks, that despite the onset of Autumn have made for pretty much ideal riding conditions – and I’ve been able to get out on each of my bikes, although the Moto Guzzi is currently in my local bike workshop having an electrical issue sorted, and which I wrote about in my last blog post (which you can read here).
But aside from the electrical issue with the Guzzi – the rides have been enjoyable, not massive rides 100 miles here 130 miles there sort of rides – and each of them punctuated with just stops for coffee and pictures. There really is a lot to be said about having no particular place to go and on each of my recent rides I have traveled down roads that I haven’t been down before – given that I hae been heading out through Cheshire on more bikes and for more years than I care to remember I still get surprised when I amble down new roads.
