sterling service at mw motorcycles …

Anyone that reads my Blog will know that I’m always happy to say when I’ve had great service or found somewhere decent and this week was no exception to the excellent service that I always get when I call into MW Motorcycles.

This particular visit was for the annual MoT for my Moto Guzzi V7 Cafe.

I’ve been using MW Motorcycles now for a few years and in fact I’ve posted about them before.

MW Motorcycles are a local business that have been around for some time now, their premises are on a small industrial estate and are easy enough to find as they are not too far off the main road.

It was back in 2014 when I first found them (see this post), and it was certainly one of those once in a blue moon finds – since then I’ve been a regular customer, for tyres, MoTs, service etc.

As I’ve said in the past, they don’t have a marbled and tiled showroom, nor do they have fancy machines dispensing frothing cappuccino, – this place just has the look and feel of a proper workshop.

At the same time as accepting that money is important, I think everybody also know that a quality service isn’t just determined by money – these guys give a consistent all year round silver service – in my opinion I think the gap between these guys and their rivals is massive.

I always like having a look at what bikes they have in and that they are working on.

One of the machines in there at the moment is an old BMW. I think it’s around 35 years or so old, and is a certainly a somewhat unfinished restoration project.

The guys there may well work on this to restore it to its former glory and I think it will take a good bit of effort and work to pep up and needs a bit more attention than just sorting out the points gap!

So all in all this is just a shout out for great service from a local company that always exceeds expectations – so bravo for sterling service.

I’ll continue to use MW Motorcyles and I’ll be back there soon spending some more money as I get one of my other bikes ready for another European adventure.

On one final note – having looked at the weather forecast in the morning I had expected to be getting wet on the way there and wet on the way back – as it happened the weather was excellent and warm, so much so that when I got home I couldn’t help but crack open a beer.

There’s nothing quite like a midweek  bitter.
