bobbleheads …

There are more rituals involved when our grandchildren visit than you can shake a stick at – whether it’s a spot of Swiss dancing, spraying water, feeding the fish, looking at the bikes in the garage or putting on a couple of my old crash helmets. And when it comes to bobbleheads the Wikipedia entry  for the term states:

A bobblehead, also known as a nodder or wobbler, is a type of collectible toy. Its head is often oversized compared to its body. Instead of a solid connection, its head is connected to the body by a spring or hook[1] in such a way that a light tap will cause the head to bobble, hence the name.

If you take a look at the pictures from the other day in the photo gallery below you will see that the word probably fairly neatly describes them when they have the crash helmets on … and as ever Monkey (Monks) was also in on the pictures.
